Biography
Ned Tillman served as CEO/President of The Target Companies and Columbia Technologies for over 25 years, conducting environmental projects in 49 states and on numerous sites overseas. His firms received the following awards: Price Waterhouse Rising Star Award; Maryland Innovative Technology Award; Environmental Business Journal IT Award. He has patents on environmental technologies for the risk based assessment of environmental problems. He has assisted local, state and federal governments as well as a wide variety of corporate clients in the assessment of a wide variety of environmental challenges. Previously he conducted research on alternative forms of energy for The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, taught at the University of Maryland and earned degrees from Franklin and Marshall College and Syracuse University. He serves as Chairman of the Board of the Howard County Conservancy, the Chair of the Howard County’s Environmental Sustainability Board, and helps individuals, teams and organizations to be more successful in meeting their goals by becoming more sustainable. He has presented a variety of talks on Environmental, Energy, Conservation and Sustainability Issues.
